FAQs

How does it fly?

If your bow is paper tuned properly, It flies straight with a distance of 300 yds. The ring on the sidewinder acts as a stabilizer. This is why the equipment must be tuned, where the ring is pointing is where the broadhead is going. Both designs have single beveled blades which make them spin like a bullet. This gives superb accuracy. Both hit right on the pin or crosshairs(crossbow) with properly tuned equipment.

How does it work against bone?

  • Our larger than average blades are significantly stronger. No broken blades with our broadheads. Our broadheads are designed to perform not build flimsy and cheap. Broadheads should not be breaking blades while doing their job.
  • Our Tomahawk has the largest blade on any broadhead. 0.050 thick 0.200 wide 34.5 grains make the strongest blade on a broadhead. It is a knife blade screwed into a field point, with a mechanism which can not fail. These blades have cut through every bone in a whitetail. Spines, briskets, front leg, back leg, shoulders, and of course ribs. Every bone!
  • Our Sidewinder breaks a cuts bone, hide, meat and fat ahead of the ring like other 3 bladed broadheads. The damage is done before the ring arrives. The ring cuts out the damage already done by the front of the broadhead. The result: A real 1-inch hole with no way to clot, blood pours out. Animal is dead in a few seconds.

How deep does it penetrate?

  • Sidewinder: Full pass through with crossbows. The most devastating broadhead for crossbows. Compounds: 50 lbs minimum recommended. Full pass through with 55-60 lbs. You still get the same recover distances if you don’t get a pass through.
  • Tomahawk: The Controlled Expansion mechanism retains the most kinetic energy upon entrance of any design. Cut on contact blades stab into the animal with ease. The CE mechanism makes a ⅞ inch cut on contact but is fully open in the vitals. With all the retained kinetic energy the Tomahawk gives you a complete pass through.

How durable is it?

More than durable enough to kill, that’s our guarantee. You will not break a blade on an animal. Built tough, solid, will not fail to kill the animal when placed in the kill zone.

What is the kill zone?

Our broadheads effectively double the size of your killzone. Killzone with these designs is between the front and back legs. We've heard from countless hunters, and seen the results ourselves, that even a bad shot outside their normal hit resulted in a clean kill. Double lung placement: 2-3 seconds 20-40 yards. Liver shot: 60-80 yards 8-10 seconds. Gut shot: 60-150 yards 5 minutes!  NO OTHER BROADHEAD DESIGNS CAN PERFORM AT THIS LEVEL. NOTHING KILLS LIKE FIRE N THE HOLE
